RECOGNITION OF TURKEY’S INDEPENDENCE FREE OF ALL CONDITIONS MUSTAPHA INTERVIEWED' Mustapha Kemal says the Turks have not entered into relations with the new British , Government yet. They wish to see frankly what are the intentions of British diplomats. The “Petit Parisien’s” Brusa correspondent interviewed Mustapha Kemal, who said: “Until the last days of Mr. Lloyd George’s Ministry, we had no ‘confidence in British policy. We have not yet entered into relations with the new Government. We wish to see frankly and unreservedly what are the intentions of British diplomats. The majority of the British population does net show hostile sentiments towards Turkey, but sentimental questions are insufficient for a concrete result. “The Turkish peace terms include the recognition of Turkey’s independence without conditions. We desire all the territories comprised within the national frontiers, and Turkey entirely independent and without capitulations.
