DESTRUCTION OF IRISH PROPERTY
CLAIMS FOR COMPENSATION. (Rec. November 2, 7.45 p.m.) London, November 1. Mr. Cosgrave, the President, announced in the Dail Eireann that claims for compensation for the destruction of property since a truce of July, 1921, already amounted to thirty millions. The Dail Eireann refused a Labour proposal to allow claims for loss of wages to be added.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
