LOWER HUTT RAID
Simultaneously with the raid nt Petono, Detectives Walsh and Revel and Constables Kelly and Frost paid a visit to premises in Main Street, Lower Hutt, as a result of which two tobacconists, George Phillips and Cyril Fauchelle, were arrested. They will be called-upon to answer charges of keeping common gaminghouses. ’ All the accused, who were, subsequently admitted to bail, self in and one surety of a like amount, will appear before the Petone Court this morning, when, it is probable, it will be necessary to apply for 11. remand.
