MONEY MARKET. The Bank of England discount rate is 3 per cent., to which it was reduced from 3J per cent, on July 13. OPEN MAHKET RATE. The open market rate for three months' bills ia nominally 20 per cent., aa compared with 27 per cent, last week and 4? per cent, last year. ‘ (Short loans are quoted at li per cent, aa against U per cent, laat week and 4 per cent, last year.
