LEAGUE OF NATIONS ASSEMBLY
NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIAN DELEGATES. (Roc. August 26, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 25. Although tho Australian delegates to tho League of Nations Assembly will be as previously announced, it is not improbable that some changes will bo made, especially as there is a possibility of the Nauru Island mandate being under review at the forthcoming assembly. In this matter, New Zealand will have the assistance of Tier Attorney-General to deal with the legal side of tho question, and therefore it is likely that Judge Rich, who is at present travelling on the Continent, mav, if available, strengthen the Australian delegation. There is > also a likelihood that the interests of women may bo specially represented on the Australian delegation. League of Nations exhibitions, thfi first of their kind, will be held at St. Albans and Stoke-on-Trent in November. The embassies, legations, and consulates of fifty-one countries are helping with displays of the arts, handicrafts, and educational work of their countries. The stall-holders Trill wear national costumes. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
