FORESTRY RALLY
An entertainment which is expected to attract a large audience is to be held in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall by the Forestry League on Wednesday evening next. With the object of making, the New Zealand bush and its denizens more widely known, a programme of talk, illustrated by [cinematograph films and lantern slides, has been arranged. The object of the rally being a publicspirited one. no charge for admission will be made. The Mayor of Wellington will preside, and the speakers will include Mr. T. Macintosh Ellis, Director of Forestry, Mr. D. Miller, biologist, Mr. J. S. Myers, ornithologist, Mr. Johannes Andersen, poet and bird lover, and the league’s Wellington secretary, Mr. Will. Lawson. Local members of Parliament and representatives of local bodies have accepted invitations to be present. *
