GREAT FIRE AT CALAIS DOCKS
BRITISH WAR MATERIAL INVOLVED. (Rec. August 25, 8.40 p.m.) Paris, August 24. A groat fire is raging at Calais docks, affecting an area of a mile long. Many warehouses containing British war material are involved. One shed containing 10,000 gallons of Army rum is threatened. —Aus.-N.Z- Cable Assn.
