GO-SLOW POLICY
DEFERRED BY SYDNEY FIREMEN. (Rec. August 9. 7.50 p.m.) Sydney, August 9 A meeting of the Fire Brigades Employees’ Union discussed the suggestion to adopt a go-slow policy in extinguishing fires if the proposal to reduce wages bv seven shillings a week is put into operation, and deferred any action joending a reply from the Fire Brigades Board as to whether it intends to • enforce the reduction or wages. A reply is demanded by Friday. In the meantime members of the union are plodged-zealously to perform their duties.—Press Assn.
