Grave fears are entertained regarding the fate of the British steamer Quito, which was reported to be sinking fast oii Monday night, 150 miles off the Tyne, after striking an obstruction. Fuither efforts to establish wireless communication with the vessel failed. ’ The Qiv'to carried a crew of twenty-eight. —Reuter [The Quito is a vessel pf 3256 gross tonnage and was built in 1900 at Glasgow.
