MAGISTRATE’S COURT
ALLEGED THEFTS. The police cases were dealt with by Mr.'W- G- Riddell, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. On the application of Sub-Inspector McNamara, George Anthony Silva, who was charged with stealing at Kaitoke on August 2, from the dwelling . of -Tames Freeman Green, money and ellery, total value £lO, was remanded to appear at Upper Hutt on August 16. Bail was allowed, self in £5O and one surety of a like amount. A further remand until August 16 was granted in the case of Joseph Christian and Thomas Oliver who were charged with the theft at Wellington, on August 1 of two costumes and two shirts, valued at £lO, the property of some persons unknown.
