NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE A SECRET BALLOT OF WORKERS ON PROPOSAL TO STRIKE. IN the matter of a, dispute BETWEEN the Wellington Tramways and Power Houses Employees’ Industrial Union of Workers AND the Wellington City Council, relating to wages and other conditions of employment. WHEREAS a settlement of the abovementioned dispute has not been made within fourteen days after delivery of the notice of the dispute to the Minister of Labour, AND WHEREAS recommendations for the settlement of the dispute have not been made by a, labour Dispute Committee: NOW, THEREFORE. I. the undersigned, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that a secret ballot of those members of the Wellington!
