MEETING OF CREDITORS
LAPSES FOR AVANT OF A QUORUM A meeting of creditors in the bankruptcy petition of Harry,-Dowrias Nattrass. motor mechanic, lapsed yesterday for want of a quorum. Bankrupt, in his statement explained that about August 20, 1920, he went to Auckland on business for the Nattrass Harris Motor Company. On the return journey from Auckland by car. he contracted nr illness whichplaced him in his present financial position. lOn his return to Wellington, ho was sent ’to a private hospital, where he had to remain for several months. The services of a were required when at length he was allowed to go to his homo. He was absolutely without funds, • and he had to get financial assistance from Mrs.-McMahon, of Whangarei. Prior to.this, bankrupt’s wife liad to obtain financial help from bankrupt’s brother, Charles V. Nattrass. Tho bankrupt’s statement showed that his unsecured debts were £175 18s. 6d., and his assets £45. His principal creditor was Dr. O. D. Henry, to whom he was indebted in tho sum of £42. . /'
