Hill presiding. - Members expressed appreciation or the capable and assiduous manner in which Mr. Baxter O’Neill, had carried out his duties as the centre’s representative on the Dominion ICouncil, find placed his services on record. The Island Bay Club advised that they had presented a shield for inter; club competition next season. On the question of the erection of new municipal salt water tepid-baths, it was .decided that a deputation, of which Mr. Hill is to be the spokesman, wait on the City Council this evening, in . conjunction with the deputation from the Rotary Club and Wellington Swimming Centre. It was reported that according to the latest advices from Home, the age limit for the bronze medal was now fourteen instead of fifteen, as previously. Headquarters Question.

The following instructions are to bo forwarded to the centre’s representative on the Dominion Council: —“That the' Wellington representative be asked not to move a motion for a change of headquarters front Christchurch to Wellington , ' but that' if a motion of * that nature be brought down he support it; to move that, a sub-com-mitte be set up in the council to go into the recommendations of the 1922 conference, and to revise! the whole of the council’s constitution; to move a motion of thanks to Mr. Bassett, the late chairman, for his past. services, and congratulate .him on being awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the London executive.”
