J SIGNS OF UNREST MONARCHISTS AND REPUBLICANS Berlin, June 26. , A Republican demonstration in tho Lustgarten made an enormous impression. Two hundred thousand people were present.. Collisions between workmen and Monarchists are reported from Loachwitz, Nuremberg, and Freiburg. The casualties were not serious. In the Reichstag on Sunday, Herr Weis, on behalf of the Majority Socialists, declared that the Monarchist flag in Germany had become the standard of murder. Dr. Helfferich should disappear from public life. Herr Hergt (Pan-German) denounced the tragedy, but said that the Presidential decree was opposed to the spirit of the Constitution and destructive of liberty. ' Herr Crispien (Independent Socialist) declared that all the officers should ‘be dismissed from tho Reichswehr and the police, and tee property of former ruling houses should be confiscated! for tho purpose of paying reparationsDr. Wirth (Chancellor) said he saw the Lustgarten demonstration, which was orderly and calm; but beneath the discipline lay a volcano, the eruption of which would teach a severe lesson.
