MOVIE ACTRESS AND DANCER

Maurice, world-famous dancer, and I Constance Talmadge, of screen renown, have recently been dancing together a ' great deal at Hollywood .social events, I and now they have invented a new fox-trot, which, as a tribute to Miss . Talmadge’s terpsichorean ability, Maui rice has christened “The Constance Talmadge Fox-Trot.” Not only all the | members of the motion picture colony j at Hollywood, but also the society ! folk at Los Angeles and San Francisco ‘ have adopted the new steps of this , new dance, until the “Constance Tali madge Fox-Trot” bids fair to become ‘ the most popular dance in California, j this season. And now that the Tal--1 madge sisters have returned to New ' York for a brief vacation, it is very ; likely that the new Mauricc-Talmadge dance will soon be introduced in the East as well. It is not generally known that Constance Talmadge is, an interpretive dancer of considerable talent, who would probably have adopted classical and ballroom dancing ns her profession if she had not found such a successful career awaiting her on I the screen. In herb most recentlyreleased First National picture,- “Polly of the Follies.” Constance does an impersonation of ’Frisco in an eccentric clog dance that has met with very great success.
