a BY TELEGRAPH -PRESS ASSOCIATION. Christchurch, May 12. The students of Canterbury College held high revel this morning on the occasion of their annual capping carnival procession. The chief burlesque this year was a Royal wedding ceremony, which was conducted coram populo in Cathedral Square. The procession brought a phenomenal crowd into the city, and the scene in the Square was one of the most remarkable of its kind ever witnessed in Christchurch.
