■WON BY C. G. WATSON. Melbourne, April 29. The Australasian chess championship was won by C. G. Watson (Victoria), with 11 wins out of 13 games. Davies (New Zealand) tied for third place, 'with 71 wins.—Press Assn. IC-. G. Watson last year won the Victoria championship. Ho has held that title many times during the past twenty years. He was the Victorian champion in 1906, in which year he was defeated .by W. S.
