PORT OF MANCHESTER
OUTLET FOR AUSTRALASIAN PRODUCTS. ' (Rec. April 28, 5.5 p.m.) London, April 27. The Australian Press Association had an interview with Air. El Jowett, who stated that he considers Alandhester is likely to provide an increasing outlet for Australian meat and other products if shipped in vessels actually discharging at Manchester, whose people had expended vast sums on canal, docks, and cold stores, which were magnificently equipped. Therefore he strongly advises Australian meat producers to ship direct to Alanchester. Already New Zealand was shipping there direct, and may obtain a command of. the market unless Australia acts quickly.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable As sll - »
