KARORI RIFLE CLUB
SENIOR CADET COMPETITION. The committee of the Karori Rifle Club has fixed toe following conditions ter the Cadet contest: First match, soven shots each at 200 and 300 yards: second match, seven shots each at 200 and 500 yards, one optional sighter. In order to put all the boys on the same footing, rifles will be used as' issued. Be-. fore the Cadetuses the rifle, the coach, will fire a few shots with it, in order to give the boys t’he full benefit of the coaching. In each match the prizes will be one at 10s., one at 7s- 6d., and seven at ss. For the aggregate of toe . two days the trophies will be, one at £1 Is., one at £l, two at 155., arid five at 10s. The total'prize money is EH. Going out to-day the Cadets will be under Sergeant Line, and will fall in on tho northern end of tho railway platform. As the fifty boys competing -epresent the best Cadet shots in V ellington, the competition should be keen. .
