A.M.P. SOCIETY
ANNUAL REPORT. The seventy-third annual report of the A.M-P. Society has just been issued. The new business (sums assured) amounts to -1312,845.515, made up of .£9.855,217 ordinary, and 412.990,298 industrial. Net claims by death, £1.291.’557 ordinary, and £26,359 industrial. Subscriptions to war and repatriation loans exceed £13,660.000. Divisible surplus), £1,489,752 (ordinary, and £43,616 industrial, in each case a record,will produce reversionary bonuses exceeding £2,629,000 over £300.000 more than last year. The rate of interest on mean funds is £5 ss. per cent. The total income exceeds £6,750.000. The retiring directors are Messrs. Richard Teece and Walter Mullens Vindiu. both nt whom are eligible for re-election. They are the only candidates for ihe two vacant seats. Mr. T. F* ,TT. Mackenzie, F.C.P.A., the senior auditor, also retires. but is eligible for re-election, and is the only candidate for the vacant position
