Sailed.—City of Hauliow (7.35 a.m.), for Melbourne. TAINUI NEARING PORT. The Shaw-SaviH steamer Tainui, at present en route from Southampton to WeUington, is due in the stream late to-morrow evening, and will berth on Monday to disembark her passengers. The vessel is to sail on Friday' for Auckland, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, at all of which ports she will discharge and load, subsequently visiting Timaru to take in cargo only. Due back at Wellington on May 4 to fill up, the Tainui will be dispatched at daybreak six days later for Southampton and London, via Panama. REMUERA’S MOVEMENTS. The departure of the New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Remuera for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers has been postponed until this afternoon. , THE ISLAND SERVICE. The Union Company advises that the Navua is to leave Auckland at noon today for Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT STEAMERS. Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. yesterday advised the following movements of units of the Canadian Government mercantile marine engaged iu the cargo service between the U.S.A, and Australasian ports:— . The Canadian Constructor, which left Halifax on February 3, cleared New York on February 28 for Australian and New Zealand ports. The vessel is due in the Dominion towards the end of this month, and will load for New York, Boston, and Montreal at Dunedin, WeHington, New Plymouth, and Auckland. The Canadian Seigneur has been fixed to leave Halifax on April 6 for Australian and New Zealand ports. Cabled advice has been received that the Canadian Miller, at present en route from New York to Australian ports, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington. Napier, Auckland, sailed from Panama on March 26. The vessel is due here towards the end of May. It, is expected that tho Canadian Mariner will leave Halifax on April 27 for Australasian ports. From Montreal, at the dates stated, the following vessels will be dispatched for Australian and New Zealand ports:— Canadian Planter. May 23; Canadian Exnlorer, June 28; Canadian Spinner, July 26. WIRELESS FROM PALOONA. Tho Union Company’s Paloona, en route from Bluff to Melbourne, has advised by wireless message that she expects to reach the Victorian ports at 6 p.m. today. The vessel, which will sail on Tuesday for Wellington, is due here on April 9, and will be dispatched the following day on the return. voyage, via Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. In continuation of her voyage from Liverpool, the Federal steamer Dorset is now to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. today for Wellington. Due here on Monday evening, the vessel wiU sail towards the end of next weea for Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete her discharge. WAIHEMO’S MOVEMENTS. The Waihemo, which arrived at Dunedin last evening irom Lyttelton, is to sail on Monday afternoon for Melbourne to put out the balance of her Pacific Slope cargo. PORT BOWEN FOB HOME. The 0. and D. steamer Port Bowen berthed yesterday morning at the' Glasgow Wharf to complete Homeward loading. It is expected to dispatch the vessel on Tuesday next tor London, via Montevideo. KAIKORAI DUE TO-MORROW. Laden with the balance of her cargo of coal and general merchandise from Newcastle and Sydney, the Kaikorai is to clear New Plymouth to-day for Wellington. The vessel is duo in port tomorrow. WIRELESS FROM CITY OF WINCHESTER. A wireless message was received yesterday from the Federal steamer City of Winchester, which left Now York on February 28, advising that the vessel now expects to reach Auckland on Mon-d-.iv. After discharging at the northern port, she will visit Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin, arriving here about April 12. FLORA REPORTED. The Union Company advises that the Island steamer Flora is to be dispatched from Auckland on Wednesday next for Rarotonga' and Papeete. AUSTRALIND IN PORT. The Federal steamer Australind, from St. John, via Auckland, arrived in port it 3.10 p.m. yesterday, and beitned at No 16 Queen’s Wharf. After discharging tho Wellington portion of her cargo, the vessel will proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports. SAILINGS FOR HOME. There was quite an exodus of oversea vessels from port yesterday. Phe C. and D. steamer Port Adelaide took hei departure for London, via Montevideo, at 6.30 a.m.; the Federal steamer Treloske sailed at 6.40 a.m. for Liverpool and Manchester, via Montevideo; the Huddartj Parker steamer Ulimaroa was dispatched at 12 45 pm. on the return voyage to Svdney; the Federal steamer Somerset left at 12.50 pm. for Avonmouth. Liverpool. Manchester, and Glasgow, via Panama; and the Shaw-Savill steamer Waiwera cleared her berth at 5.15 p.m. for New York, Boston, and London, via Panama.

Hewitt advised that the auxiliary schooner Zita is due on Tuesday from Lyttelton to load again for tho soul hern port. ™ . The Rakanoa will sail to-day for Westport. where she is to load for Wellington. Tho Union Company advises that ihe Kurow will bo dispatched from. Lyttelton on Tuesday for Timaru, Wellington, and Auckland. . The Waverley is now due to-morrow from Patea, and will sail on Monday on the return trip. ... Mr. T. G. " Harding yesterday joined the Corinna as purser, vice Mr. S. G. Thomas. , , - x ,_ ... . The Ripnle is due back at Wellington from Gisborne on Thursday next. The Kaitoa, which left Wellington on Thursday evening for Waitapu, will take a load of sheep from tho latter port to Wanganui. The Kini should leave to-day for Napier and Gisborne. The Gale is now due on Tuesday from Dunedin, Bluff, Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton, and wiH sail the same day for Wanganui. The Union Company’s Manuka is to clear Auckland to-day on the return voyage to Sydney. Delayed at Wanganui, the Storm is now expected to reach Wellington to-mor-row. Her departure for Lyttelton, Timaru. and Dunedin has accordingly been postponed until noon. The Union Company advises that the Wanaka will now leave Auckland on Monday for Wellington, where she is duo on Thursday morning. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel later the -ame day for' Dunedin. Bluff. Oamaru and Timaru. The collier Ngahere. which sailed yesterday for Onehunga. will Later go on to Greymouth to tead coal for Wellington. The vessel is to lay up at this port for overhaul.
The departure of the Regulus (wljich arrived lasi evening from Wanganui) for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth, has been postponed until noon to-day. The Corinna is expected to return on Tuesday from New Plymouth, and will sail the same day for Dunedin, Oamaru, ana Timaru
The Wootton, which will sail to-day for Lyttelton, is expected to return to Wellington on Wednesday. Mr. W. Rogers, general manager of the Anchor Company, who has been visiting Wellington in connection with shipping business, will ruturn to-day to Nelson.
