POSITION VERY ACUTE IN WELLINGTON “The position is very acute,” said the Mayor (Mr. R. A. Wright) yesterday, discussing unemployment. All day long the people stream! up here looking for work, and willing to take anything. These include clerks, storemen, and labourers. There are a great many people cut of work in Wellington just now, and something will have to be done for them.”
