The extraordinary general meeting of the Wellington R.S.A. which is to bo hold in the club .-ooms to-morrow night is of great importance to all returned soldiers. Itecently a magistrate ruled that recent legislation regarding' the eviction of tenants from houses did away with the protection of returned soldiers. Several returned soldiers have received notice to quit their homes, and the matter will be thoroughly gone into at the meeting in question. The local secretary for Trinity College of Music, London, writes correcting an error which appeared in the list of Trinity College results published yesterday. He states that the names of Dorothy O’Donnell and Dorothea Prictor were wrongly attributed to St. Mary’s Convent, though both were pupils of Miss Harvey. The Girls’ College Preparatory School, which opened iii February, proposes holding a garden party at the College Hostel, 32 Hobsrtn Street, next month, n t which the children will give exhibitions of portions of the school work.
