During evidence in connection with the Dbutschland purclmse, Herat fo Bottomlcy declared um't when the vessel crossed the Atlantic she was laden with torpedoes. Bottomlcy alleged that ho incurred loss in exhibiting the vessel to the public; also by being sued for compensation by dependants of victims killed on board the vessel when she was being broken up.—Aus.N.Z.
