THE PRINCE’S TOUR
DEPARTURE FOR COLOMBO.
Delhi, March 17. The Prince arrived at Karachi this morning and presented colours to the 126th Baluchistan Infantry Regiment. He unveiled a war memorial and then embarked on the cruiser Comus. At Kiamari harbour ho transferred to the Renown, which left for Colombo. Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
PREPARATIONS IN JAPAN. Tokio, March. 17. The preparations to entertain the Prince of Wales in Japan are complete. The welcome will be the most elaborate over staged in Japan. Apart from Court and official circles, the common people are keenly in the Royal visitor. A special railway train, with coaches ..designed and decorated by Japan’s foremost artists, will be used for tho tour. Millions of British flags have been manufactured, and the Imperial palaces and other places where the Prince will lie lavishly decorated. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
