Delhi, March 1

It being ,understood that the fourth race at the Lahore Gmykliana on Wednesday was to be the Princess Mary’s Plate, the Prince of Wales accordingly mounted and won. There was a hurricane of cheers, but it was then discovered that the race -was not Princess Mary’s Plate. The Prince departed for Jammu in the evening. In consequence of the abandonment of the military manoeuvres, the remainder of tho Indian programme is being revised on the grounds of economy.—Reuter.
