Mr. Loughlin, New South Wales Minister of Lands, proposes to raise £10,000.000 in the next three years, to facilitate settlement, construction of railways, and irrigation works. The Government will cut up large estates, allowing the owners to retain land values at £20,000, exclusive of buildings.
