REVOLT IN MOSCOW
REBEL WORKERS JOINED BY RED GUARDS REGIMENT OUTBREAK QUELLED AFTER FIERCE FIGHTING. Riga, February 28. A serious workers’ revolt arose in Moscow, following a strike at the railway shops and waterworks. . A regiment of Red Guards joined the rebels and fired on the troops, who were endeavouring to crush the malcontoFierce fighting followed, and it took the Bolsheviks several days, aided by reinforcements to quell the outbreak. —Aus.-N.Z.
