4 TWO YOUNG WOMEN SENT TO PRISON. BT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. Invercargill, March 1. Two young women, Myra McLaren (married) and Eileen Callaghan, sisters, pleaded Iguilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to several charges of stealing goods from drapers’ shops' and receiving goods knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. On a joint charge of theftj each was sentenced to fourteen days imprisonment, convictions without a penalty being entered in the other cases. .
