SPANISH FOREIGN LEGION
PARTY OF ENGLISHMEN COMPLAIN OF'ILI,-TREATMENT. (Rec. November 25, 8.5 p.m.) Paris, November 24. A largo, party of Englishmen, formerly of the Spanish Foreign Legion, have arrived in a deplorable condition, and penniless. Thev" are very bitter owing to their ill-treatment by the Spaniards and the conditions in which they were made to live during the fight. Four Britishers were killed in action and fifteen wounded in Morocco. They had to fight a wellarmed army with obsolete rifles.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
