Two additional cases of plague hare been reported, one ot Rockiea and the other at Townsville. The Home Secretary announced that : tlie " Commonwealth Government 'was without supplies of plague curative serum. It. had applied to the State authorities for cultures of local cases from which to manufacture ..erum. It was assumed, therefore, that, the cases which had already occurred had not been treated with scrum.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
