FEILDING METHODIST CIRCUIT

The quarterly meeting of the Feilding Methodist Circuit was held on Wednesday, the Rev. G. F. Stockwell presiding over a record attendance of officials. Votes of sympathy were passed with the families of the late Mr. W. Bramwell and Rev W. Cannell. Several new members were welcomed by the chairman. Membership and financial returns were satisfactory. The Sunday schools and Bible classes were reported to be m a very healthy condition; .£2BO had been raised for foreign missions. Hearty invitations wore extended to the Rev. G. F Stockwell to labour in tho circuit for a sixth year, and to the Rev. E. E. Sage for a second year, and were both accepted Representatives were appointed to the Synod to be held in Napier Centenary matters received full consideration and it was decided to prosecute tho circuit canvass with the utmost vigour. Ine New Zealand Alliance was given permission to send a deputation to the circuit on Sunday, October 23. Mr. W. Fergusson, of Halcombe. received a hearty vote of thanks and appreciation on relinouishing the position of society steward, which ho had held for many vears. It was decided to invite Hawke's Bav-Monnwatu to hold its W—sessions in Feilding.
