The Mararoa did not reach Lyttelton from Wellington until 1.20 yesterday, having experienced a. strong south-easterly galo on the trip down.
OORTNTHIO DELATED. The S.S and A. liner Corinthic has heen delayed at Timaru by bad weather, but should leave to-day for Ihirt Chalmers, Bluff, and Wellington. She is now due on October 19 and is to sail at daybreak on October 23 for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. WIRELESS FROM CANADIAN CONQUEROR. A wireless message received yesterday from the Canadian Conqueror by Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. stated that the vessel was meeting with strong southeasterly gales, and does not expect to make port until late this afternoon She is from Montreal, and will sail for Auckand on Tuesday, PORT KEMBLA REPLACES PORT ELLIOT. The O. and D. Line are in receipt of cabled advice announcing that the Fort Kembla is to replace the Port Elliot on the Liverpool and Glasgow loading berth for New Zealand. The Port Kembla Is expected to sail for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin on October 23 from Liverpool THE CITY OF SYDNEY The Federal Line advise that the City of Sydney arrived at Auckland yesterday from New York, and is to leave for here on Monday. She is due on 'Wednesday, and after putting out her 500 tons c.f cargo for here she will visit Lyttelton. Dunedin, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney. THE CANADIAN MARINER The departure of the Canadian Mariner for Lyttelton has been postponed until Tuesday next. CORINNA’S ALTERED MOVEMENTS The Union Company announced yesterday that the Corinna, due to-day from New Plymouth, will not now proceed to Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru, but will sail later to-day for Picton to load for Onehunga. The Koranui will sail on Tuesday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. DORSET FOR HOME The Dorset'kompleted loading at Auckland yesterday and should finish her coaling in time to sail for the United Kingdom at 4 pm, to-day. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. Messrs. Murray, Roberts, and Co. advise that the Canadian Spinner is not due from Auckland until Tuesday. FROM LONDON The 0. and D. liner Port Albany is expected to leave London on November 9 for Auckland and Wellington in place of the Port Curtis. ’ ALDEBARAN DUE TO-DAY. The French war sloop Aldcbaran is due here to-day from Auckland and will later visit Akaroa, Dunedin, Hobart, and Sydney. She will then return to Noumea THE CANADIAN PIONEER. It is reported that the Canadian Pioneer, en route from Montreal and New York lo Auckland, left Panama on October 3. She is due at Auckland about November 1, and will afterwards sail for Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Australian ports. The Port Denison is due from Gisborne on Wednesdaj' The Komata will not sail on the return trip to Westport until Tuesday. The Kanna is not due from Lyttelton until Tuesday, and is to sail the same day for Aucldand. The Kini, which was coming hero from Onehunga, has been diverted to West Coast ports. She should leave Onehunga to-day. Mr F. Lawton has signed on the John as second mate in place of Mr. E. A. Rate. The Opua will not come here this trip, but is to leave Lyttelton on Monday for Port Craig to load timber for Lyttelton. The Alexander, which is due on Wednesday from Greyraouth, will sail for Nelson. Westport, and Greymouth the same day. The Koranui will not arrive from w hangarei until I'onday. and will sail th# following day for Lytteton, -Dunedin, Oamaru. and Timaru. The Kakapo was bar-bound at Greymouth yesterday. She is expected to-mor-row with a cargo of coal and timber The Karamu is to sail today for New Plymouth, Dunedin, and Bluff.
