Six first offenders for insobriety figured in the charge-sheet presented to Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., on Saturday morning, and they were leniently dealt with. Annie Henry, convicted of loitering in the streets for immoral purposes, was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Joseph Hemmings, who was found asleep in the band rotunda at Oriental Bay at 11 o'clock on Friday night, was charged with being a rogue and a vagar bond. Tho defendant declared that he was in work, and did not know how he got into the rotunda. He was convicted and 'ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
