The R.M.S Tahiti arrived in the stream at 620 o’clock on Saturday morning from Ban Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, and berthed at No 1 Queen s Wharf shortly after nine o’clock. She left Sau Francisco at 11 a.m. on July 26, and experienced light variable winds and I smooth sens on tho run to Papeete The weather was exceptionally cool in the Tropics and Papeete was reached only on the morning of September 6. SCHOONER CHANGED HANDS. The five-masted schooner II K. Hqll, row about a month out from Newcastle to Lyttelton, with coal for M'Clatchie and Co . was recently taken over by the New Zealand Glue Co., Christchurch, and will be used by that firm, in conjunction with their Sydney branch, in the intercolonial and Pacific trade. The Now Zealand Gino Co. has had an interest in tho vessel for some considerable time, but as the vessel was American-owned, they were pliable to complete the purchase until recently. Tho 11. K Hall, which was built in 1902, is u wooden five-masted, single-docked schooner of 1237 tons register.

THE EAST COAST BOATS. The Kamia is due on Wednesday from . Lyttelton, and is to sail for Auckland on ■ Thursday Tho Katoa ie nob due from Auckland until next Saturday, and she will not sail for Lyttelton and Dunedin until today week. TO LOAD AT GREYMOUTH. The Kini is to load coal at Greymouth to-day for Wellington. The Kamona will load "coal and timber there at the end of the week, and the Kahika will also load coal for Wellington. The Waikawa arrived from Auckland on Saturday with cargo from San Francisco to discharge. She Is to sail for Lyttelton. New Plymouth and Melbourne on Tuesday. The Wanaka. is due to-morrow from Lyttelton and will flail later in the day for Sydney and Newcastle. The Port Bowen flailed on Saturday for ' London. Tho Karamu is expected back from Timaru on Thursday and is timed to sail the same da.y for Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. „ The Kahika will sail for Greymouth to- .' morrow to load coal for Wellington. The Komata was unable to leave Westport on Saturday night. She wiH be , despatched to-day, arriving in Wellington on Tuefld::»-, and sailing again on Friday. - The following vessels were expected to bo within range of the undermentioned , wireless stations last night:—Awanui—Mo- • kura, Navua.
