PORTFOLIO OF FINANCE
TRANSFERRED TO HON. W. DOWNIE STEWART. The portfolio of Finance has/ been taken over by the Hon. W. Dowme Stewart who will hold it until the leturn of’ Mr. Massey. This arrangement, as stated recently, is necessary m view of the opening of the Parliamentary session next week, since the Minister of Finance must sit m the House of Representatives. Sir Francis Bell, who has been Acting-Minister of Finance since tho departure of Mr. Massey for Ixjndon is taking over temporarily the portfolio of Internal Affairs.
