Wireless advices received from the Marama yesterday were to the effect that the steamer was expected to make port at 8 a.m. to-morrow. She is due here on August 24, and will leave on August 29 on tho return trip. The Rlverinu is to leave Sydney for Auckland to-day, and will leave the northern port on the return trip on August 23. The Katoa is’ duo on Thursday from Auckland, and will sail the same day for Wellington and Dunedin. For assisting the American eteamer Tafihmoo in the North Atlantic in April, 1920. the Admiralty Court ha& awarded the owners of the C. and p. liner Stephens, a regular trader between England and New Zealand. £lO,OOO, with £SOO for the master and for the crew. Th« Port Stephens a voyage frorm Melbourne to Hull with a cargo of 7000 tons of frozen meat and general cargo. The Port Stephens towed the Tashmoo for a distance of over 1200 miles, taking her to Queenstown. The’ wea-the* conditions during the trip with the disabled steamer in tow were very severe. The Port Stephens is now on her way from Barry to New Zealand ports. SUBREY AT BOSTON. The Surrey, which sailed from Lyttelton on July 9, arrived, at Boston on August 7. PALOONA DELAYED The Union Company’s eteamer Paloona is now due from Lyttelton on Thursday. Her departure for Melbourne via Bluff, has been postponed until Friday. WAIRUNA FOR MELBOURNE. The Wairuna is due to-day from Auckland, and is to sail for Melbourne on Wednesday. LEITRIM AT LIVERPOOL. The Federal Line has received advice that the Leitrim arrived at Liverpool on August 9. She left Lyttelton on June 24 for Liverpool and Glasgow. ’ THE CITY OF LINCOLN. The 0. and D. liner City of Lincoln is due from Auckland to-day. She should -leave on Wednesday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian porta. PAPAROA COMPLETE. The Now Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Paparoa is due from Timaru tomorrow, and should sail <at noon on Friday for London. SUFFOLK LEAVES NEWPORT NfWS. The Suffolk left Newport News on Wednesday for Liverpool. She left here on luly 7. | MAKURA FROM VANCOUVER. The R.M.S.
