UNREGISTERED FIREARM
NEGLECT TO HAVE CERTIFICATE ENDORSED. Br Telegraph—Press Association Wairoa, July 28. In tho Magistrate’s Court to-day Stanley Hutchinson, storekeeper at Molinka. was charged with possessing an nnregistored firearm. Defendant proved that ho registered the firearm at Patutahi, Gisborne. The prosecution proved that he took the gun io Mohaka, and though advised to get his certificate endorsed neglected to do so. The Magistrate held that the gun was unregistered, and inflicted a fine of -£5 and costs.
