RADIOLOGIST APPOINTED
DR. D. F. MYERS, M. 8.. Ch.B. At yesterday’s meeting of the Hospital Board. Dr. D. F. Myers, M. 8., Ch.B., at present radiologist at tho Freiitham Military Hospital, and who has occupied the positions of junior and senior house surgeon at the Wellington Hospital, was appointed radiologist to the hospital, in succession to Dr. Cameron (resigned). Dr. Myers was associated with Trcntham Came ns ;> medical graduate in 1914-15, aid he saw service in Egypt, Gallipoli, and France, from 1915 to 1917, after which he. became officer in command of the X-r*v department, No. 2, New Zealand General Hospital at Wnlton-on-Thames (which accommodated a thousand patients). Concentrating on radiology. he became radiologist of the orthopaedio unit of the Chalmers Military Hospital at Christchurch, and returning to New Zealand at. the end of 1919, was appointed radiologist to the Trcntham Military Hospital. For four years past Dr. Mvers has concentrated on tho study and practice of radiology, mid has had exceptional opportunities for so doing in the radiological departments of the most important London hospitals. He is a member of'tho Rontgen Society and the British Association of Radiology. Ho enlisted for service in 1914 whilst on the staff of the Wellington Hospital.
