AUSTRALIAN WINS FRENCH GRAND PRIX. (Rec. July If, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, July 11. Spears (Australia) won tho Cycling Grand' Prix. Halpin was unplaced. There were eleven starters. Spears repeated his best form. He has just returned from a successful tour in Italy, whore he won several races. Horder has not been permitted to race yet. He omitted to obtain a clearance from the professional body in Australia, for which he cabled. Meantime he is training and expects to win several races before participating m the world’s championship at Copenhagen.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
