SOLDIER SETTLEMENT
HIGH COST IN NEW SOUTH WALES Melbourne, July 0. In the Federal House of Representatives, Sir Joseph Cook complained of the altitude of the New South Wales Government in relation to soldier settlement. He stated that an agent had submitted a list showing that forty-one soldiers hnd been settled in Now South Wale*, at ft total coet of X 1.30,000, an average of X 3500 per man. —Press Assn.
