BOWLING
THE KARORI CLUB. .
The annual meeting of the Karori Bowling Club was held on Monday evening, when there was a large attendance of members. Tho annual report and balance-sheet showed tho club to bo in a, flourishing condition, the finances showing a balance in band of £l5 16s. for the year. The senior bowls competition was won by Mr. W. C. Cooper. Tho junior bowls by Mr. G. Gapes, and the club pairs by Messrs. Arn Henderson (s.) and L. P. Davies. Several new members wore elected, and the following were elected ns office-bear-ers for the coming season:—President, Mr. J. B. Jordan; vica-president, Mr. M. P. Spiers; secretary, Mr. E. iSunley; treasurer, Mr. W. Cooper; committee, Messrs. F. A. Dryden. B. G. H. Burn. H. B. Roberts, C. Holden, A. Edwards, F. Platts, IV. Bradnock, J. Whithair, and F. Lyall: hon. auditor, Mr. C. I. Dasent; delegate! to centra, Mr. A. Edwards.
A hearty veto of thanks to the outgoing office-bearers terminated the proceedings.
