The Repayment: Ixian will bo issued at G per cent., the Government having authorised the City to pay that rate- of interest. The issue will lie secured on the general assets of the City, together with an ample Special Rato on the wbolo of the Rateable Property within the City. The investment is, therefore, of the soundest possible description. Tho term of the loan is 10 years from MARCH 1, 1922. ’ Applications are invited from persons who are prepared io take up any portion of the proposed. Loan in sums .of even hundred pounds, and the Council is prepared to accept the whole or any portion of such sum forthwith, paying interest on the amount at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum meanwhile, and exchanging Debentures on MARCH 1, 1922, for the temporary deposit receipt. A splendid investment for trust funds and other moneys seeking a sound investment at a satisfactory rate of interest.
