PRINCE’S ACKNOWLEDGMENT.
On fhe occasion of the birthday of the Prince of Wale*, the Governor-General sent to His Royal Highness the following message"On my own behalf and that: of the Government and people of New Zealand, I beg to convey to Yonr Royal Highness respectful congratute4ion<j. and good wishes on the occasion or yrnr birthday.” The following telegraphic reply ha« been received by His Excellency; "Please express to Government and people of New Zealand my warmest thank* for their telegram of birthday greeting*, which I was delighted to receive. iSignedl Edward P.” The following reply has bean received by the Minister of Education (the Hon. C J. Parr) to a message of congratulation sent to the Prince :-“M.y very best fhankw to New Zealand children for their message of birthday congratulat.irure. Please give them all my gwxl wishes and remembrances.—Edward
