NO NEWS OF THE CANASTOTA

MORE VESSELS JOINING IN THE

SEARCH

The Canastota, a week overdue from Sydney to Wellington, has not yet been heard from, and none of the searching vessels report any news of her. Several vessels are timed to leave Australian ports or bave left within the last day or two, and they will also join the searchers by keeping a good look-out and by' deviating slightly from their regular courses. With such a large number of steamers crossing the Tasman at present, it is hoped that word of the missing steamer will shortly lie received. NO NEWS TN SYDNEY. (Rec. June 24, 10.5 p.m.) Sydney, June 24. There is still no news of the Canastota, AH efforts to locate the missing vessel have proved fruitless. —Press Assn.
