MONTHLY MEETING OF BOARD. At,the monthly meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board yesterday the following report and recommendations of the Finance and Property Committee were adopted :—"That, a special meeting was held for the purpose of going into the revenue aide of the board’s activities, and also to ascertain if any better system could be adopted in connection with the collection of patients’ maintenance fees and the fees from the various branches of the out-patients'’ departments. It way decided that those responsible for the patients whilst in the "Hospital should be furnished at the discretion of the receiver with their accounts monthly, and that in order to facilitate bringing, the outstanding maintenance fees accounts up to date additional temporary clerical assistance be obtained." "That applications be invited for the position of assistant dental surgeon at £450 ner annum." "That, in order to effect, a sale, the upset price be reduced from £lO5O to ££so on property at Johnsonville in the estate of the late Mrs. Frances Guilford." "That advices have been received from the Public Trustee of bequests for the purpose of endowment of cots cf £5OO from tho estate of Mrs. Frances Rossiter Macdonald, and 30 put of 233 shares of the residue of the estate of Mrs. Louisa Rotheram.”
