RAIN DELAYS VESSELS. Tho wet weather has delayed numerous vessels up and down the coast. In Wellington the Komata, for Westport, Rama for Dunedin. Oamaru, and Timaru. Ngahere for Greymouth, and other vessel have been held up. The ships mentions: were all to have sailed yesterday, but are not expected to sail before this afternoon, Tlie John and the are among the vessels which havo been delayed in the south, neither vessel being expected here now until Friday. The John is from Tim--2 aru, and will jeave for Wanganui the same day. The Storm is from Lyttelton, end will not now get away for Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin until Saturday. ATHENIC AND CORINTHIC. The S.S. and A. Line have received cable advice from Home that tho Athenio is expected to leave Southampton for Wellington and other New Zealand ports about July 14, and will bo followed on July 23 by tho Oorinthlo. SOMERSET TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Somerset, which left Pan- • ama on Juno 7 for Wellington, is due here at the end of tho month. She is to ’, load for thd United Kingdom at Lyttelton. Dunedin, Bluff, and Wellington. The - Somerset is coming to Wellington in ballast. HAVRE WITH CASE OIL. The steamer Havre, with case oil. is en route to Auckland, Wellington, Lvttelton, and Dunedin, from Singapore. The vessel will come to the agency of the British Imperial Oil Company, to whom the cargo is consigned. She is expected at Auckland about the middle of next week, and should be hero about a week later. PESHAWUR TO SAIL ON SATURDAY. The Peshawur is now to sail on Saturday for New Plymouth to commence Homcjvard loading. From New Plymouth she will come back to Wellington and should sail early in July for London. WEST WIND FROM AUCKLAND. The steamer West Wind, now at Auckland. is expected here about to-day week to discharge New York cargo. TAIROA DUE SUNDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Companv’s liner Kaikoura is to Bail to-day for Napier. Tokomaru Bov. nnd Gisborne. She is duo back here about July 2. and will sail for London on July 3 or 4. EAST COAST SERVICE. The Kanna is due to-day from Lyttelton. and it is hoped to disnatch her for Pioton and Auokland to-night. The Katoa will not leave Auckland for Wellington now until to-morrow. From hero gho will go to Lyttelton and Dunedin. WIRELESS FROM THE ARMAGH. The Federal Line have received a wireless message from the captain of the Armagh to the effect that he expects to arrive at Auckland from New York at 11 a.m. to-day. She Swill probably leave Auckland for Wellington about the beginning of next week. REMUERA HOMEWARD BOUND. The Neb Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera. which left here for London on May 25. arrived at Panama on Thursday last, and left Colon the following day.

KARAMEA TO COMPLETE. The S.S. and A. liner Karatnea. left Port Chalmers yesterday for Timaru and Lyttelton. She is due here on July 3. and is timed to sail eix days later for London. MARAMA AT SYDNEY. The B.'M Marama arrived at Sydney from Wellington yesterday. She is expected to leave the Australian port at 10 a.m. on Saturday, being duo here on Wednesday next. It is hoped to dispatch her for San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete, at 6 p.m. the same day. WAIOTAPU’S ALTERED MOVEMENTS. The Union Company’s steamer Waiotapu is expected to le/ive Auckland today for Nanier. From the Hawke’s Bay port she will go to Lyttelton, afterwards coming to Wellington. She has cargo from San Francisco for discharge.

OTARAMA AT LIVERPOOL. The Otarama arrived pt ’Liverpool from i Wellington on Monday. She left here on April 23. bound for the United Kinp-jtom, via New York and Boston. KLA ORA AND ARAWA. The Arawa is to sail for Auckland tomorrow. The Kia Ora is due at Auckland to-mor-row from Montreal. She is under the command of Captain T. W. Jones, late chief officer of tho Arawa. SUFFOLK LOADING. The Suffolk berthed at New Plymouth yesterday, and is expected to leave that nort for Wanganui and "Wellington on Saturday. She will sail finally for Liverpool and Avonmouth from here. MAMARI’S SAILING DATE. The fl.B. and A. liner Mamari is expects «d to, leave Auckland for Whakntano on Saturday to continue loading. She will later return to Auokland, and should sail from there for London on July 3. SURREY LEAVES BLUFF. The Surrey left Bluff yesterday for Napier, from which port she will come to Wellington. She will later go to Lyttelton, and will r.ail finally from the southern port for London. The Gallic will not sail from Lyttelton for London until Saturday. The Kalwarra was to have left Port Kembla for Wellington yesterday. Tho Malaita sailed late last night for Pinion and Greymouth. The Kurow is to leave Newcastle on Saturday with a part cargo of coal and Iron for Wellington. She should be here on July 1. Mr. R. Elliott, engineer of the coastal steamer Hula, received injuries to his right hand on Tuesday night while attending to the vessel’s engines. He came ashore at Wellington later in the evening, and Mr. Duncan took his place. The Maindy Lodge, at present discharging Newcastle coal at Wellington, is to leave here on Monday for Newcastle. A barque was reported to have passed north of Gape Campbell at 9 a.m. yesterday.
