Mr. A. Stanley Warwick is catering for both litcraiy and dramatic tastes in his offering at tho Town Hall Concert l.'haiubcr on Thursday and Friday, June -J and 24, of Yeates's delightful one-net play, "The Land of Heart's Desire,” and tho tense little drama. "The Bishop’s Candlesticks,” also a short playlet, arranged from a poem by Morson., will be performed by Misses Julio Maris, Jean M'Lay, mid Peggy Macdonald. Entirely new scenery has been made for this production. and full lighting effects and costumes will bo used. An orchestra under Mr. Braund will render the incidental music. The usual concession to schools and colleges is announced, and owing to inquiries having already been made, it will be necessary to secure seats at: Hie Bristol, the plan opening next week.
