THE FRENCH NAVY'
GOVERNMENT’S BUILDING PROGRAMME. (Rec. June 9, 8.5 p.m.) Paris, June 8. The Government’ll naval programme includes fho laying down this year of three scout cruisers, to cost seventy million francs; six destroyers, twelve torpedo boats, and twelve submarines, each of 1100 tons. The uncompleted battleship Bearn will bo converted into an aeroplane carrier. The total expenditure is estimated at 755 million francs, spread over three years.—Reuter.
