FARROW’S BANK FAILURE
TRIAL OF OFFICIALS OPENED. (R«c. June 9, 1.25 a.m.) London, June 6. Tho trial of officials of Farrow’s Bank, which was recently suspended, has opened Farrow, Crotch, and Hart ueio charged with conspiracy to defraud. 1 arrow and Crotch were also charged with publishing false statements of accounts, and Hart with aiding and a ]’ctting. All three pleaded not guilty. Tho AttorneyGeneral said tho bank’s deficiency was at least two millions sterlig. The bank spent .£9OOO a year in advertising largely in religious publications, that tho bank was solvent and prosperous.—R outer.
